# Gestionar eventos del ciclo de vida de la tarjeta

Los eventos del ciclo de vida de la tarjeta pueden afectar los metadatos del token con el tiempo. Los eventos comunes incluyen renovación, reemplazo y eliminación.

* Si los datos de la tarjeta cambian (PAN y/o fecha de vencimiento), D1 eCom Enablement notifica a su pasarela de comerciante para actualizar los metadatos del token.
* Si se elimina una tarjeta, el backend del emisor notifica a D1 eCom Enablement.
